Frequently Asked Questions

1. In what port or area of delivery in Mexico does listed catalog price apply?

Swiss Cleanwater Group is committed to deliver the machine at the following ports of entry (in Mexico):
Tijuana, Baja California
Puerto de Veracruz, Veracruz
Acapulco, Guerrero

2. Does the price in the catalog include the import taxes for Mexico?

The price in the catalog includes only the cost of the machine.
It does not include transportation from the port to the final destination, taxes or custom fees or the broker fees, does not include certifications, nor training, or installation .

3. Who are our competitors (systems)?

The truth is that there is no competition for our systems. Our technology is new and unique in the market. There are systems that promise to purify water using reverse osmosis, desalination and distillation, they all use chemicals and also waste up to 50% of the water in the purification process. They are very expensive to run because they require lots of energy to operate.

4. It says in the catalog that to install it you don't need a plumber or electrician, how do you install it then?

That is correct. The installation is very simple, as it only requires a regular water hose to connect the machine to a water faucet and an electrical outlet of 110 volts (230 volts in Europe). For the water outtake you need another hose to send the purified water into a storage tank, or you may drink it from the tap.

5. Are there only two models or system capacities. Are they the only sizes?

At the moment there are only two sizes of systems, which produce 24.000 liters and 60.000 liters. We are in the process of producing a system that purifies an average of 3.000 liters per day.

6. Do we need any special floor implementation, what are the characteristics and how much weight should the floor hold?

No, the machine is mounted on a base, which can be leveled easily on any floors. In regard to the floor, it can be any type. Ideally, the machine should not be installed outdoors. The weight of the machine mounted on its base is at most 230 kg.

7. The cost seems quite high, do you have any comparative prices with the competition and similar volume?

The cost may seem high at first sight but there is no way to compare our systems with any other system because the others work with other technology and we use a revolutionary new technology where we use no chemicals and no water is wasted in the process of purification, besides we use very little power to operate our machine.
You can easily see a comparison of costs and profit. The following compares our system with a reverse osmosis: Link.

8.Who provides the maintenance service? How often is it necessary? What are the costs?

Swiss Cleanwater Group offers the service of technicians certified by us, to ensure the machine runs in perfect condition.

The average maintenance is every 4 to 6 months, depending on the type of water that it is cleaning.

The machine has a one year warranty, this includes maintenance and parts or components. The second year we offer a maintenance program which covers the same as the first year. The cost depends on the country where the machine is. If you require more information on these costs, please contact your representative of Swiss Cleanwater Group.

9. Who is responsible for the installation ?

Swiss Cleanwater Group will be responsible for installation through its certified technicians. The client has to ensure an appropriate area for the installation of the machine, water, electricity, plus hoses and storage tanks ready for operation.

10. Do you deliver the machine in the country of purchase?

Yes, in Mexico: Tijuana, Baja California, Puerto de Veracruz, Veracruz and Acapulco, Guerrero. If you require more information about deliveries to other countries, please contact your representative of Swiss Group Cleanwater.

11. Are there any minerals used in the water purification process?

No, our machines work with the latest technology and do not require the use of any chemicals or minerals .

12. How is the process?

Please see this video where the purification process is explained: Link.

13. Is it necessary to take some training to learn to handle it?

Yes, Swiss Cleanwater Group has a certification program in which the client will be trained in the management and control of the machine.

14. What are the payment terms?

80% of the cost of the machine at the time of signing the purchase contract.
20% must be paid at the time the machine arrives to the requested port.

15. What makes the water taste so pure and natural?

Our systems disinfect the water reliably and continuously so that the purity of the water is quality guaranteed, even if the pipe is contaminated. The absorption of pesticides, herbicides, as well as hydrocarbons and chlorine are the result of different carbon filtrations. In addition, carbon filtration improves water taste and odor.

16. Once the machine is running what kind of support can I count on?

You will have access to our qualified staff through the Internet, by telephone or via teleconference. If necessary, one of our certified technicians will visit your facility to provide technical support.

17.What kind of warranty do you offer?

The machine has a one year warranty, this includes maintenance and parts or components. As of the second year we offer a maintenance program, which covers the same as that of the first year. The cost depends on the country where the machine is. If you require more information on these costs, please contact your representative of Swiss Cleanwater Group.

18. After the water has been purified, which other use can it have in addition to human consumption?

Swiss Cleanwater Group offers a solution for a variety of water conditions, thus ensuring that each customer find the product you are looking. The choice of machine depends on the area in which to install and what the intended water use is. Our machines are installed easily to solve any problem of water quality and improving the quality of your business, industry, etc.
